What counts as a user?
Every person with access to Teamox, whether editor or observer. Mailboxes, teams and channels are unlimited. Add or remove users any time, billing is pro-rated by day.

What you want to know before you start
What is the difference between Teamox and a shared Outlook mailbox?
The shared mailbox in Outlook is the foundation: one address that several users can access. Teamox adds the collaboration on top: assignment, status, internal notes, snooze, collision detection, AI and reporting, all inside Microsoft Teams. What happens to my emails?
Nothing. Your emails stay in Exchange Online at Microsoft. Teamox reads them there through the Microsoft Graph API and only stores what Exchange does not know: assignment, status, notes, snooze and history. If you cancel, all emails and folders remain in Outlook.
Do I need Microsoft 365?
Yes. Teamox requires Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams, i.e. a Microsoft 365 plan with a mailbox (for example Business Basic, Business Standard or E3). Shared mailboxes do not need a Microsoft licence.
How does the AI work and what does it cost?
The AI features run through OpenAI with your own API key. You enter the key once in Teamox, it never leaves the server. OpenAI bills usage directly to you, roughly €0.50 to €2 per user per month with normal use. Without a key the AI buttons are simply hidden. Note: a ChatGPT subscription does not include an API key, you need an account at platform.openai.com.
How are add-ons billed?
Add-ons always apply to the whole organisation and cost €4.99 per user per month on top. You book them in Teamox under “Subscription & billing”, the number of users is taken over automatically. Cancel monthly.
Can I bring my Missive data?
The emails themselves already live in your Exchange mailbox with Missive and are available in Teamox immediately, including folders and archive. Missive notes and assignments can be exported on request via the Missive API and imported as notes. Talk to us before switching.
Who can see the notes?
Only the members and observers of the respective team. Notes are never sent to the customer, never written into the email and never transferred to Exchange. They live exclusively in the Teamox database in Germany.
How do I set it up?
Sign up with Microsoft, connect mailboxes, open Teamox in Teams, invite your team. The setup wizard walks you through every step, including the approval by your Microsoft 365 administrator. Most teams are productive after an hour. How it works.
Is there a data processing agreement?
Yes. You can download the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR on the Security and privacy page and accept it digitally when you start. The list of sub-processors is there as well.
How do I cancel?
In Teamox under “My account” with one click, any time to the end of the month. With yearly billing to the end of the yearly period. After cancelling you can export notes and history for 30 days, then we delete all data of your account.
